Trygve Halvadan Lie (1896-1968), of Norway, was elected Secretary-General of the United Nations on 1 February 1946. His term formally ended when Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold took the oath of office on 10 April 1953.

Trygve Halvdan Lie (16 iulie, 1896 – 30 decembrie, 1968) a fost un politician norvegian.
